"Rappahannock Ripple" Limited Edition Giclee Print by Gabriel Pons
"Rappahannock Ripple" Limited Edition Giclee Print by Gabriel Pons
Giclee Print originated from the 2023 Mural at Selfie Social - an event space in Fredericksburg where guests and professional photographers use a variety of stages to create unique photos for social media. The owners requested a mural that acted as a “postcard” for the city, welcoming guests at the entrance to kick off their experience at the venue.
Artist Gabriel Pons incorporated a font treatment of “Fredericksburg” found on historic maps and coupled it with a clean-lined illustration highlighting the Rappahannock River’s prominence in the cityscape.
Printed on acid free Epson velvet fine art paper with archival inks. Each print is hand signed, titled, and numbered by the artist.

What is a "Giclee"? Basically the word is derived from the French verb gicler, meaning "to spray". Giclee prints use archival inks and acid free paper to produce high-resolution prints from a digital image. I use a professional-grade Epson Printer with Epson brand inks and paper to create these prints.
